What is Nutrigenetics or Nutrigenomics?

It is often evident that an equivalent food affects people in very alternative ways. Sometimes we see someone losing weight on a specific diet, while somebody else doesn’t, albeit he’s getting an equivalent amount of exercise. Every person is different, and lots of of the explanations for these differences are in our genes. Genes don’t determine disease on their own. Genes function only by being activated, or expressed, and nutrition plays a critical role in determining which genes, good and bad, are expressed.
